Providing PET/CT tracers throughout the UK and Ireland

Erigal produces radiopharmaceuticals or tracers for use in Positron Emission Tomography (PET).  Our aim is to provide a highly reliable, licensed supply of PET radiopharmaceuticals to imaging centres in all regions of the UK and Ireland.

Because of the short half-life (~2hrs) of the most commonly used radiopharmaceutical, ¹⁸F-Fludeoxyglucose (¹⁸F-FDG), it is necessary to have this product manufactured relatively close to the point of usage, and ideally within 3 hours of the ‘consuming’ hospital/patient.

Erigal has established 4 fully licensed radiopharmaceutical production units (RPUs) which supply radiopharmaceuticals to PET imaging centres across the UK and Ireland:

• Preston (Lancashire) 
• London (Sutton, Surrey)
