Erigal is fully licensed by the relevant national regulatory authorities to manufacture and supply PET radiopharmaceuticals for PET/CT imaging. Erigal has been granted a full Marketing Authorisation (previously Product Licence) and Manufacturers/Importers Licence (MIA) by the The Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA). Erigal has been supplying licensed product in Ireland since 2003 and UK since 2008.

Process

All of Erigal's facilities are designed to cater for terminal sterilisation or aseptic manufacture.

ERtracER™ Fludeoxyglucose (FDG) for injection, is terminally sterilised at Erigal as per European Pharmacopoeia (Ph. Eur.) recommendations.

Quality

Quality is always at the forefront of our mind when supplying products to meet the needs of your PET/CT scanning service. To ensure that the products you receive are always of the highest purity and quality each production batch is released only under Qualified Person (QP) protocols.

Research and Development

We are keen to facilitate the development and introduction of "novel" tracer products, and have established close partnerships with research organisations operating in this field. Our production unit in South London includes research laboratories, to be occupied by our collaborative partner the Institute of Cancer Research. They will enjoy access to ¹⁸F and short-lived radioisotopes including ¹¹C, ¹⁵O and ¹³N, for use in research and development of new PET tracers.
